چکیده

In this research, supercritical CO2 extraction is applied to extract bioactive compounds from Lamium album (white dead nettle, Lamiaceae). Extraction was performed at various temperatures (40, 50, and 60 °C) using methanol as co-solvent a constant flow rate of CO2, methanol, pressure. The collected extracts were characterized in terms antioxidant capacity by DPPH, ABTS FRAP vitro activity assays, whereas the Folin–Ciocalteu procedure employed estimate total phenols content (TPC). On other hand, phenolic quantitated liquid chromatography coupled with photodiode array detector (UPLC-PDA) confirmed mass (TQD). have shown high TPC ranged between 234.17 650.17 mg GAE/g extract. DPPH scavenging estimated obtained EC50 values 0.12 0.37 mg/mL solution. radical 43.20 44.53 µg TE/g. value found within range 19.48 44.74 µmol TE/g Differences conditions observed. 50 °C/250 bar efficient for TPC, ABTS, assays; moreover, statistically, TPCs assay showed significant differences ? = 0.05. identification flowers, UPLC/PDA, revealed that chrysin, pinostrobin, myricetin, trans-3-hydroxycinnamic acid molecules present, which may be responsible polyphenols activity. results indicated SC-CO2 could considered an alternative method extracting album. High presence indicate potential plant Lamiaceae family possibility its application industries, including agriculture, food technology, or pharmacy.

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Extraction of Bioactive Compounds from Ampelopsis grossedentata Stems: Process Optimization and Antioxidant Activity

Supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO(2)) extraction of bioactive compounds including flavonoids and phenolics from Ampelopsis grossedentata stems was carried out. Extraction parameters such as pressure, temperature, dynamic time and modifier, were optimized using an orthogonal array design of L(9) (3(4)), and antioxidant activities of the extracts were evaluated by 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl ...

Supercritical CO2 extraction and purification of compounds with antioxidant activity.

Supercritical fluid extraction (SCFE), based on the utilization of a fluid under supercritical conditions, is a technology suitable for extraction and purification of a variety of compounds, particularly those that have low volatility and/or are susceptible to thermal degradation. The interest in SCFE is promoted by legal limitations of conventional solvents for food and pharmaceutical uses. Th...
